Zack Aker

Zack established his custom furniture practice, Aker Studio, in early 2020. Born & raised in Seattle, he moved to LA in 2009 to be with his wife, an LA native and owner of interior design studio Aker Interiors. After years of witnessing the difficulty she had finding reliable custom woodworkers, Zack decided to partner with his wife to create custom pieces for her residential projects, eventually expanding his practice to include his own clients.

As a self-taught maker, Zack prides himself on his attention to detail and his creative, contemporary approach to traditional furniture design.
