The son of an architect, he learned from a young age the impact of the spaces we inhabit and the things we put in them. He is fascinated by the ingenuity and structure of natural systems and graduated college with a degree in neuroscience before trading in his lab coat for a shop apron.
A few years after receiving his bachelor’s degree, Alex returned to Providence to complete his graduate degree in furniture design from the Rhode Island School of Design.
