Kim Ramin

Kim was born and raised in Sacramento, California. Seeking new and creative job opportunities, she moved to Los Angeles with her husband and dog in July 2017. Kim is a newbie to woodworking. She took her first woodworking class here at LA Woodshop in May 2021. Previously, Kim was a Commercial Interior Designer and Gymnastics Instructor.

As an Interior Designer, she helped design many custom interior and exterior pieces for various projects. Kim’s love for custom millwork and furniture design compelled her to pursue a career in woodworking. While instructing classes at LA Woodshop, she continues to further her education in woodworking and furniture making.
